On Sunday, I took the Fondriest down the Edo to the Tone canal and then across to the Tone river to where the annual Noda MTB race was held. For the last four years I’ve wanted to go and watch or even participate. After watching this year, I may even give it a try next year.
I saw some of my Wednesday night training friends there and they were in the lead of the 4 hour enduro as I left to go home.
The course was quite muddy and I wasn’t dressed well enough for the cold. My shimano road bike shoes were leaking in muddy water. I took a few clips of the enduro and as you will see it is quite tame out on the course proper, but once they enter the bamboo forest it gets quite technical.
