Another chapter in being a child for my son, comes to a close with his last (and ours) participation in the school’s annual sport’s day.

Here is Sean trying to make up lost ground in the team relay. Their team came 4th out of 6.

Stinking hot outside and they force these kids to sit out in the middle of the field with no hats, no shade, and little to drink. Should be a crime! Poor old Sean was at the doctor’s yesterday with an eye infection and then made to endure a day in the sun. He’ll be full of sun burn tomorrow with a head ache!

I decided to come home after lunch as I don’t want too much sun on my healing scar.  I will head out for a ride though in an hour or so when it is a bit cooler.
