As far as the road will take you to Mt. Hakuba that is. Followed the Olympic road to it’s highest point.
1250m. From the restaurant and parking area there, hikers make their way to the top of the mountain.
I just had an ice cream and a cola and as it was cold up there I decided to go straight back to the foot spa again and warm up. The descent made me even colder as it was mostly in the shade.

This is what I’ve been having for brekky almost every day. I’ve been skipping lunch and dinner most of the time as well. After 3 cappuccinos and a double espresso I’m quite wired for the rest of the day.

Been 11 years now since the Olympics. Wish I’d come up here then. Hakuba seemed like a million miles from Tokyo back then. Little did I know it is very easy to get to.
