After 6 weeks off for Summer and 3 weeks off for Autumn I’ve forgotten what work is.
While I was up in Hakuba I didn’t have my nifty scales either so haven’t been recording my data.
Tomorrow it’s back on the program. I expect my weigh to have gone up with all the rain and lack of riding. Even though I didn’t eat much.
Today the weather was perfect for cycling but I had a special day with dogs. A trimming get together with about 20 Airedales. I knew I wouldn’ t be able to handle all three so I took the two boys. Sora could meet his mum and brother and Sky could meet his grandmother, uncle and sister.
Sky finally had a decent hair cut… we started at 10 and went till 3p.m with a short lunch break.
Sky was the hairiest looking creature there and he made the biggest transformation.
I learnt a lot. I had been plucking the fur out with too much force (hence my silly injury in August). I was taught today how to do it gently. Slow and steady so it seems.

Friday I hit the gym as I was sick of not cycling and tried to do a medium workout.
Massage Chair 2 X 11 minutes
Abdominal Machine 45kg X 15 reps.
Back Extension: 55kg X 15 reps
Chest Press: 45kgs X 2 X 15 reps
Lateral Pull downs: 60kg X 9 reps (arm tendon still not perfect and had to stop).
Leg Press: 150kg 2 X 15 reps
Leg Curls: 49kg X 15 reps
Calf Raise 73.5kg X 2 X 15 reps
Arm curls: 41kg X 10.
Supposed to rain this week. Everyday! Gym visits and roller trainings are a must!!! I must, I must, I must improve my gut!
