Well I had a slow start to the year and didn’t have enough miles on the clock in Jan or Feb. In Feb not feeling the best of health I joined the gym. Weighing in at an unbeleivable 95kgs at gym orientation I decided that that was enough. I began to rebuild myself. I hit the gym as often as possible without over doing it The weight quickly dropped 3kgs and then got stuck again. No progress. Next step was to attack my body from the inside. I started a Herbalife program. 2 protein shakes with vitamin and herb tablets for breakfast and lunch plus a hearty dinner. Since then I’ve been losing almsot a kg a week. Down to 86kg at the moment and quite confident I’ll get to my target 77kg by September. Before this 1st 6 months of the year passes I am doing a race in Hitachinaka.
Details on this in here.

Last night a few guys in my club Semas Racing (Shin Matsudo) started a new night time training at Shimizu Koen. We do about a 5km lap course around a large park and small hill. Really good work out.
Mileage so far this year.

There will be 63 riders in my race on Sunday and I haven’t had to race against that many before. I’m expecting a fast pace and I’m confident I’ll be in with a chance at the end.
