6 riders. 10 laps.3 wins, 2 seconds, 1 3rd, and the rest I didn’t contest. Not bad for me. Felt good although still having problems keeping with the pack around the course. I think it must be some psychological thing and I need to work on sticking with the group no matter what. I manage to get back to them for the crucial sprint but that won’t work in a race. Got to stop letting gaps open up no matter how I feel.
Trying to upload my Polar data but for some reason the lap top is not recognizing the cable and can’t find the driver. I think my new Nortan Symantec Virus software that makes this thing run slower than my Windows 95 Aptiva has something to do with it. I have gone witjout virus software on this since 2003 and decided I better get some to make sure I had no problems. It found 2 spywares (harmless ones) and that’s all. Now my laptop is virtually useless and I hear it’s hard to uninstall the software. It’s like I’ve paid for this virus that is supposed to help me.
I have a feeling if I reboot with the cable plugged in it may pick up the driver but will wait till tomorrow to do that as booting up which used to take about a minute takes 10 now. Good one Mr. Norton.
Feeling really fit lately. The 96km ride on Tuesday afternoon helped. The running has helped. (Need to do more of that). The weekly weight sessions at the gym have toughened me up too. (Been upping the weights a bit). Peaking in the off season? Is that good or bad?
