Saturday (Today)
10km jog around Shimizu Kouen. Mostly following our Wednesday night cycling course but also off road onto some good MTB territory. Some of it I hadn’t seen before. I’ll be doing this course again. Lot’s of bird watchers hiding in the bamboo forests and walking paths of the main roads.
My legs didn’t feel great, probably due to the cold and I had to walk the last km home to make sure I didn’t do a calf muscle.
Nice hot bath when I got in and now replacing the lost energy with 2 cans of stout. Kirin.
Will our cycling club be able to get training in tomorrow morning before the snow gets thick. It was falling ever so lightly during my run but not heavy enough to even hit the ground. Powdery stuff. It was however snowing heavily on the other side of Tokyo.
If it is wet in the morning I’ll get on the roller for my fitness test.
