Tega Numa Triathlon

Today Semas fielded 4 teams and one solo in the 4th annual Tega Numa Triathlon in Abiko this morning.
Mr. I came 6th in the solo against some of the best in Japan and one of our teams came 3rd in their first ever triathlon. Great performance guys. I’m hoping to do a swim leg next year! Looked fun.

We tasted blood today and I have a feeling that next year we will field so many teams that we will take a few more podium positions! Semas has entered the triathlon realm.

3rd place SEMAS!!!

That was 25km to get there by 7:30 in the morning then it all finished up around 1p.m.
On the way home I kept heading north along the canal to Tone river than up the Tone to the Kokaigawa river for one of my favorite local routes.

All up 87.7km.

Here is the route.

My arm was a bot sore but I’m gripping the bars lightly with no problem and make sure I’m not holding much at all over sharp bumps. Still painful to stretch or when I touch the tendons under my wrist.
