One week on the Paleo diet and I’m back in the winner’s circle.
Completely different.
Have dropped 2 or 3kgs. Have not had any dairy, processed food, sugar, and a few other things for a week now. I had some sugar withdrawal symptoms.
Lots of blueberry, blackberry, raspberry & protein powder frozen smoothies…sometimes with almonds in the blender. Strawberries, mango, pineapple, grapes. Veggies. Some eggs. Some beef. I have barely even had time to read any of the Paleo books yet either.
This week rather than worry about getting dropped, I was the one putting in the odd little attack to break up the field.
We only lost one but was enough to stamp a bit of authority on proceedings. Something I haven’t been able to do at all this year. Can feel my fitness is coming back fast. Must have been a little excess adrenalin from the spit monster on Sunday left over in the system.
