Forgive me father for I have sinned.
It has been over 2 weeks since my last ride.
In that time I have partaken the pizza and beer.
Tonight Mr. A had arranged his normal light Friday night training and I said I’d tag along and do my best.
This morning I had the stitches out and was told I can ride if it doesn’t hurt. Not to do any heavy lifting for 2 months and no racing for at least 2 weeks. The doc told me that I had cut the tendon a bit and it will heal by itself but I need to stretch the middle, ring and little fingers back so that don’t go ‘claw’ on me. They are quite flexible as it is and the pain is not that bad.
I’ve been practicing riding with little to no pressure on my hands to handle bars so it was a good test tonight to see if I’d notice any change. Towards the end of the ride the angle of my wrist was getting a bit sore but due mainly to not haven ridden for 2 weeks and holding my wrist at a funny angle lately as well.

I wanted to work my legs tonight so most of the time I had it in heavy 53/12 and worked on the muscles that don’t get much work when you eat pizza and drink beers.
