Last year we boycotted this race and besides that time this year was the first time I’d missed the race since 2004. Great to see we did exceptionally well! May 3rd 2011 Semas’ Men’s A team 1st place. Semas’ Lady’s Team 3rd place.

Met the team at 8, rode to Kasai Rinkai Park then across to Tokyo Disneyland for a lap. Then we crossed back over the Edo river to the Nichirensyu Daihonzan Hokekyoji Temple to pray in the new year. Then a nice Japanese lunch of sushi and a strong headwind home. Very very fat & unfit. [...]
