Nice day for it today. Not too hot not too windy not too many insects.
Picked up the first (fast) group at Tone Canal and the pace was not too fast. At about the half way mark half the guys missed the turn off but we all came back together at the drink break.
Nothing much to report. At the Tone Canal entrance on the way back I turned right and the others turned left. My plan, to try and beat them back by riding on the other side of the river. I had given them too much of a start though. Probably about an extra kilometer for me but I figured it was easier to cross the bridge my way and hoped to pick up our other training group to help me home. I arrived about 1 minute after the guys I had dropped away from. May try this again next time if the wind is in my favor.
