Back With A Vengeance!

My secret training course which has been busy with our team every Tuesday nights and mixed teams training Wednesday night is being urbanized.
On Friday a new 7/11 is opening right where the Tuesday night sprint ends. On the 2nd of September a huge supermarket is opening right on the last corner before the Wednesday night sprint with new traffic lights going on in a day or two.
Luckily the supermarket closes at 8p.m a good hour before we start and we can move the sprint location for Tuesday night but there is going to be extra traffic and more people walking around. Especially with all the new houses being built nearby. The police have been patient with us so far but I have a feeling they are going to tell us to get on our bikes and take a hike. We may not be able to ride here in the future.

Tonight only 5 turned up. Most still feeling the effects of the triathlon on Sunday those with sore legs and bodies stayed home. Repeat: We had a 3rd in the relay!!! With our first ever triathlon team.
I could play possum with my wounded arm and we decided not to go to hard tonight. This allowed me to easily crank it up to 55kph in the sprint to pass the lead out and anybody else who was in my way!
Back with with a vengeance.

My arm was a bit sore at the half way mark which forced me to not use it at all. That in itself was good training. The pain wasn’t from the gripping but from the bouncing on the rough parts of the road. My grip is very light these days.
