Tuesday night really drained all my energy.
Last night with the faster sprint training I was left for dead from the start.
Didn’t contest one sprint. Got dropped twice and took the short cut up the center to rejoin everybody twice. Even dropped a whole lap and let them re-join me.
Took a few heavy pulls at the front when I did try to help the pacemaker but that just made it even harder for me to hang on.
I think I only did about 35km. May hit the gym tonight and do some thigh work. Haven’t been to the gym for ages.
Watched about 10 minutes of the Giro last night but realised sleep was more important. Menchov should win it now.
