Tuesday Night Semas & Gym

Last night I made it to training after riding to Kasukabe and back.
60 windy km all up.

I didn’t want to push myself at training as I may go tonight as well and Wednesdays are usually harder.
A few of the less experienced riders are starting to ride stronger which is good for our team and makes the older guys ‘have’ to push themselves and train even harder.

Today’s gym. Wanting to put my frame of mind into one of endurance rather than speed and power I halved the weights and more than doubled the repetitions. Plus I hadn’t been in a long time and didn’t want to start out at the usually weight loads.

Today’s menu:
2 X 9 minutes reading and relaxing in the massage machine. The good part is it really works my balloon like calves. Designed for the typical old Japanese lady the leg sections are very tight for me. When it squeezes my calves I can feel them about to burst. This helps for when I get on the running machine. The book I was reading is called YOUR INTERNET CASH MACHINE which is inspiring me to do more with that little eye up on the top right of this page. Lots of good ideas.
3km warm up on the running machine.
Abdominal Machine 25kg X 100 reps.
Back Extension: 25kg X 50 reps
Chest Press: 25kgs X 50 reps
Lateral Pull downs: 30kg X 50 reps
Leg Press: 90kg X 100 reps
Leg Curls: 26kg X 50 reps
Calf Raise 35kg X 4 X 25 reps
Arm curls: 23kg X 30 reps
Rotary Turns: Left 25kg X 2 X 30 reps, Right 25kg X 2 X 30 reps
Leg Extensions: 30kg X 50 reps
Sit Ups: 100
Then back to the massage chair for more reading and calf crushing.
