Been feeling the cold more so this week. I don’t think it is any colder than last month but I’m feeling it more.
I only rode 43km since last week, haven’t been to the gym, haven’t been running and have been eating too much.
The good news is my protein powder arrived and I’m back on it for breakfast and lunch since yesterday and expect to start seeing the weight drip off again.
Tonight: About 6 of us. I went an hour early and did a slow 20km of warming up. I felt warm too after it and a bit if Tiger Balm massaged into my calves before I set out helped to heat me up.
1st lap. 3rd. 2nd lap 2nd. forget what happened after that, but I managed to get 2 wins. 2nd on the last lap by a nose as well and a few 3rds.
The wind was strong in all the wrong places and my over sized body really acts like a parachute. Wish I had one of those ‘Made In Japan’ bodies for cycling. Especially on windy days.
At least there was no rain. I had my Polar heart rate monitor on but not feeling genki enough to upload it and make the photos tonight. This week I’ve been interviewing students for their final exams. 240 of them by about 20 questions each. Send me mental and drains me of energy. I also have the annual PowerPoint presentations this Saturday with rehearsals tomorrow. Big week for me. Hard to stop yawning.
Need to run a lot now as the Tokyo Marathon is less than 4 weeks away…
