Was supposed to rain but we all turned up and rode anyway. Only got hit by a few drops.
The lack of warm up had me chasing them all for the first 4 laps. When I’d catch up to them we’d hit the headwind or the sprint would start and it would take the wind out of me and I’d be chasing again.
On lap five I caught them, got in a good position sitting 3rd as we entered the tunnel and managed to win the sprint. That took the wind out of me again and for the next 5 laps I was taking short cuts up the center (twice) or just drafting all the way.
Took the heavy Fondriest which still packs a nice punch when asked of it.
Will take the TREK5500 out tomorrow and test run the new aero bars for the Omiya Keirin time trials.
